Lewandowski Shines as Barcelona Cruise Past Barbastro with a 4-0 Victory in Copa del Rey

Barcelona showcased their dominance in the Copa del Rey round of 32 with a commanding 4-0 win over fourth-tier Barbastro on Saturday. Robert Lewandowski was the star of the night, netting twice to solidify the visitors’ victory.

The scoring began in the 21st minute when Eric Garcia powered in a header to give Barcelona an early lead. Lewandowski quickly followed up with a close-range header in the 31st minute, extending the advantage to 2-0 before halftime.

The Polish striker struck again just two minutes into the second half, finishing a precise low shot from the penalty area. The fourth and final goal came courtesy of Pablo Torre, who capitalized on a costly error by Barbastro’s goalkeeper Arnau Fabrega.

Barbastro, currently 16th in Group Two of the Segunda Federación and battling relegation, struggled to contain Barcelona’s relentless attack throughout the match.
